Roman heat is hot. I come from the mountains where 65 degrees Fahrenheit is a beautiful summer day, but in Rome 95 degrees Fahrenheit is a typical day. THAT IS HOT! Unfortunately, Europe has not quite gotten a hold of the major industry known as air-conditioning or ice. It is desperately missed. Our first couple of days here were brutal. So, the first chance we got, I ran into a little Chinese store down the street that has everything. They sell the strangest things, but is the go-to place for anything!
They sold fans! I would have been willing to pay anything, but it was just 15 Euro.
So, Lesson #13: BUY A FAN! Seriously good investment!
